Carbon Collective Nero Self-Healing Ceramic Coating

Nero is an ultra-hydrophobic ceramic coating with universal use on plastics, vinyl and, of course, paint. Once applied, the coating becomes an active layer on the surface protecting the paint from chemicals, bird droppings, UV radiation and even minor scratches for up to five years. Nero has a high active SiO2 content and also contains diamond particles, which help maximize gloss and protection. At the same time it aids the "self-healing" process and can eliminate hairline scratches. Simply pour hot water over the scratches and they will disappear. You can also use Nero as a topcoat over Carbon Collective Molecule, increasing paint protection against scratches to up to seven years!

Instructions for use

• Never work in direct sunlight.
• First thoroughly wash the car with a quality car shampoo.
• Always decontaminate the paint from fallout rust and tar.
• If necessary, perform mechanical decontamination of the paint using clay.
• You can read the clay procedure in the article "Waxing a Car and Its Preparation".
• After claying, wash the car again with shampoo, or rinse with water and dry thoroughly.
• Polish the paint using Dodo Juice Lime Prime - Fine Cut Polish and Pre-wax Cleanser (100 ml); the procedure is also in the waxing article. This product also degreases the paint surface.
• The paint is now ready for the ceramic coating application.
• Put on protective rubber gloves before application.
• Before first use we recommend washing the applicator cloth to prevent lint.
• Drop the ceramic coating onto the application block with the applicator cloth attached.
• Then apply the ceramic coating to the vehicle's paint using cross-hatch motions.
• Apply in sections, not over the whole car at once, e.g., a door or one-quarter of the hood.
• Let dry for 2 to 3 minutes then buff off with a short-pile microfiber cloth.
• Use multiple cloths; for one car we recommend using around 4 cloths. It's important to have a dry, clean cloth to achieve flawless results.
• You can apply a second layer after 3 to 4 hours for increased durability.
• After application we recommend leaving the car ideally 24 hours in a warm, dry place so the coating can cure.
• Do not wash the car for 2 weeks after application; rain does not harm the coating.
• Subsequent maintenance after ceramic application is very simple: just wash the vehicle with a quality shampoo, for example Carbon Collective Lusso 2.0.
