ESX QUANTUM Q208A is a compact active subwoofer designed for installation under a vehicle seat, where it delivers surprisingly powerful bass while demanding minimal space. Compared to the previous generation, it offers 50% more power from the built-in Class A/B amplifier, which now reaches 150 W RMS. Thanks to its compact construction, it fits easily under the seats of most cars and is an ideal solution for vehicles that lack space for a conventional trunk-mounted subwoofer. A notable innovation is the pair of side passive radiators that support the main driver especially in reproducing deep frequencies. The increased displaced air delivers fuller and more dynamic bass without increasing the enclosure size. The robust aluminum housing ensures high rigidity, effective amplifier cooling and an elegant appearance. The subwoofer is equipped with high-level and RCA inputs, automatic turn-on function and a wired remote bass level control. With adjustable low-pass filter, phase switch and Bass Boost control, the sound can be easily tailored to the acoustics of the specific vehicle and personal preferences.
