Suzuki S-Cross - soundproofing of the floor, trunk and wheel arches

Soundproofing of a Suzuki S‑Cross. This car had already had its doors soundproofed in our workshop and the customer returned for soundproofing of the remaining parts of the vehicle. He also welcomed an approach focused not only on high effectiveness but also on the lowest possible weight. The bespoke offer included soundproofing of the front wheel arches, the luggage compartment, the floor and the rear wheel arches. We chose a combination of the very light acoustic and thermal insulating material Comfortmat Vision, which despite its extremely low weight provides sound attenuation of -15 dB, and the ultra‑light anti‑vibration material Comfortmat Dark D2 with a thickness of 2.3 mm. By selecting these materials we achieved soundproofing with a total material weight of only 22 kg.
