Focal SUB 20 SF is a compact 200mm subwoofer from the Slatefiber range, designed to provide a high-quality extension of low frequencies in a car audio system. Thanks to its smaller diameter it is suitable for installations where there isn't enough space for a larger subwoofer, yet the customer still demands a firm, fast and precise bass foundation.
The Slatefiber cone uses a combination of recycled carbon fibers and a thermoplastic polymer, which offers a very good balance of stiffness, low mass and internal damping. This helps the subwoofer play in a controlled manner, with quick response and without unnecessary booming, which is a common problem in cheaper subwoofers.

When buying a subwoofer, it is very important that everyone make sure that the impedance matches the amplifier that you are connecting to it. For subwoofers with a double voice coil, we recommend following the information in the advice center! Example: A 2 Ohm subwoofer cannot be connected to an amplifier that is only stable up to 4 Ohms.
