The MW subwoofer range consists of four models ranging from 6.5″ to 12″. They were developed for users seeking maximum bass impact, high power and, of course, high maximum SPL. Although it should come as no surprise, the high maximum SPL is a by-product of the design parameters used. Essentially, the individual MW subwoofer models are equally suitable for high-quality audio use. The drivers are characterized by high manufacturing quality, sophisticated design and the use of classic, highly durable materials. Pressed and air-dried paper cones are used, which are extremely resistant to deformation and do not lose stiffness even at high volumes and heavy bass sessions. Powerful ferrite magnets with large pole openings and additional venting provide the necessary dynamics and deliver hard bass. Required precision is ensured by pressure-die-cast aluminum baskets that are extremely resistant to deformation. Heavy large dual voice coils 2 x 2 ohm transfer power cleanly to the ears. Only the optimization of all important details ensures that each model offers the highest durability for demanding high-power use with tight, precise and deep bass hits. The new SQL subwoofer range is made in Germany.
