Subaru steering wheel adapter
Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:
- Subaru Impreza V (2016 -> 2021)
Important additional information
- For cars with steering wheel control and parking camera.
- The adapter allows an OEM parking camera to be connected to an installed unit with a camera input.
- Supports steering wheel handsfree control buttons.
- Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
- To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)
The adapter includes wires with analog signals:
- +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15) - fitted in the ISO connector.
- +12 V after switching on the vehicle lighting - fitted in the ISO connector.
- +12 V after engaging reverse gear - free wire.
- Ground (- pole) with the handbrake applied - free wire.
Important warning
- Before disconnecting the original unit, it is necessary to set the car's functions: rear camera switch-off time, automatic light switch-on sensor, activation of interior lighting after unlocking, date and time setting, keyless access, etc.
- After removing the original unit, it is not possible to set these functions!
