Saab steering wheel adapter

Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:

  • Saab 9.3 YS3F (1998 -> 2002)
  • Saab 9.5 (1998 -> 2002) - original Fujitsu Ten car radio

Important additional information

  • For cars with steering wheel controls.
  • The adapter supports the buttons on the steering wheel to control the hands-free kit (if installed in the car).
  • Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
  • To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)

The adapter includes wires with analog signals

  • +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15) - fitted in the ISO connector.
  • +12 V after switching on the vehicle lighting - fitted in the ISO connector.
  • +12 V after engaging reverse gear - free wire.
  • Speed pulses - free wire.
  • Ground (- pole) with the handbrake applied - free wire.
