Renault steering wheel adapter

Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:

  • Renault Clio III, R (2009 -> 2013)
  • Renault Fluence (2010 ->)
  • Renault Laguna III (2008 ->)
  • Renault Megane III (2008 -> 2012)
  • Renault Scenic III, JZ (2009 ->)
  • Renault Trafic II (2010 -> 2013)
  • Renault Twingo II (2009 -> 2014)
  • Renault Wind (2010 -> 2013)

Important additional information

  • For cars with CAN-Bus control on the steering wheel and a mini ISO connector.
  • Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
  • To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)

The adapter includes wires with analog signals:

  • +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15) - fitted in the ISO connector.
  • +12 V after switching on the vehicle lighting - fitted in the ISO connector.
  • +12 V after engaging reverse gear - free wire.
  • Speed pulses - free wire.
  • Ground (- pole) with the handbrake applied - free wire.
