Steering Wheel Button Control Adapter for Nissan ACV SWC 42XNS007-0

Retain the original steering wheel radio control functions when replacing the factory radio with an aftermarket unit. Depending on the vehicle equipment, range of functions and the software of the newly installed head unit, some functions may be limited or replaced by others. Compare the displayed wiring connectors with the connectors in your vehicle and make sure they match both technically and visually. Check whether one of the listed OEM head units was originally installed. Before final installation, verify vehicle functionality, system settings and proper operation of the steering wheel control (SWC).

Designed for vehicles

• Nissan Micra (K12) (01/2003 -> 10/2007) vehicles with Blaupunkt 1-DIN OEM HU.
• Nissan Micra C+C (K12) (11/2005 -> 03/2009) vehicles with Blaupunkt 1-DIN OEM HU.
• Nissan Note (E11) (03/2006 -> 01/2009).

CAN Bus information

Connectors and power:

• Connector: ISO / Mini ISO.
• Connector: OEM SWC > 3.5 mm jack / loose wire.

Compatibility:

• Vehicles with 5 SWC functions, excluding function I.

Important additional information

• To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connection cable specific to the head unit brand.

General installation instructions

Verification before installation:

1. Check all control functions and vehicle settings with the original OEM head unit.
2. Disconnect the original radio (OEM HU) with the power off.
3. Check all interface connections to ensure they are correctly connected – with the power off.

Connection and wiring sequence:

1. Check the interface settings and HW configuration – with the power off.
2. Check the configuration of the connection cable to the radio – with the power off.
3. Connect the cable to the radio according to the aftermarket device manual.
4. Connect the other wires according to the device manual.
5. Connect the entire installation to the vehicle – connect the main power connection last.
6. Perform the software configuration of the interface according to the product description or manual.
7. Configure the aftermarket HU (steering wheel control, camera, hands-free, antenna power and others).
8. Perform a functional test of the steering wheel controls and communication with the vehicle.

Changing the interface and HU cable configuration:

• Make all changes with the power off.
• After changes, repeat steps 5 to 8 listed above.

In case of interface or vehicle system malfunction:

• Reinstall the original OEM HU.
• Start the original unit.
• Initiate a CAN Bus shutdown.
• Check the HW configuration of the interface.
• After CAN Bus shutdown, repeat steps 5 and 6 listed above.

When modifying wiring or cable routing:

• Wiring and modifications must be carried out only by professionally trained personnel.
• All changes must be verified before connection in terms of manufacturer approval or impact on the vehicle warranty.
• All modifications must be verified by measurement and comparison with the vehicle wiring diagram before connection.
