As you may have guessed from the name: the BASIC component systems are the perfect introduction to the world of HELIX COMPOSE and provide everything needed for an exceptional sound experience in your vehicle. All components are perfectly matched and form an ideal team with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance and output under all conditions. In addition, the BASIC tweeter incorporates particularly clever mechanical technologies with a clear emphasis on secure connections, creating ideal conditions for professional integration.
High efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE means smart engineering — which is why it uses highly efficient 3 ohm technology that pairs perfectly with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers. The result is a noticeable increase in efficiency and maximum acoustic pressure. Some models will also be available as optional 2 ohm variants, providing absolutely maximum power and force from the respective speaker when combined with a suitable amplifier.
Strong bass — always on point
In the BASIC line, the COMPOSE woofer/midrange combines high efficiency with excellent sound quality. A lightweight yet rigid polypropylene cone delivers outstanding acoustic performance, while the robust basket features additional ventilation holes for optimal cooling. A powerful magnet system ensures ideal transient response and a soft polyurethane dust cap guarantees optimized frequency response in the upper midrange. Last but not least, the compact design is ideal for integration into tight installation spaces.
Tweeters with unique dynamics
When entering the HELIX COMPOSE sound world, precise tweeters are of course essential to make the musical experience exciting in every respect. Accordingly, the BASIC tweeter uses a coated silk dome and a highly efficient neodymium magnet — the result: unique high-frequency dynamics and crystal-clear sound.
Optimally separated
The crossover is equipped with a four-step tweeter level adjustment with a 12 dB slope for optimal adaptation to the installation location and includes built-in tweeter protection. In addition, the optimally tuned frequency crossover offers ideal distribution of the frequency range and a harmonious sound image. Thanks to its compact design, the crossover is perfectly suited for installation in confined spaces.
FlexMount20 — universal and vehicle-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in an almost unlimited number of vehicles. This turns a universal tweeter into a vehicle-specific tweeter without effort, which can be easily installed into the vehicle's original mounting location in an acoustically optimized way using the appropriate FlexMount20 adapter ring.
