Set of speakers for the rear doors of the VW Golf IV
Speakers designed to improve the existing sound system of a VW Golf IV vehicle manufactured between 1997 and 2003. This set of speakers is characterized by high-quality sound, workmanship and simple installation without the need to interfere with the vehicle's interior or wiring. This set includes the following products:
- Hertz K 165 component speakers for the rear door.
- MDF pads for speakers in the rear door.
Main features
- Proven speakers of the world's leading car hifi manufacturer Hertz basic series Uno.
- Due to their high sensitivity, the speakers are suitable for connection without an external amplifier.
- Simple assembly and preservation of the original appearance of the interior without any modifications.
- The mid-bass speakers just need to be screwed into the MDF base and replaced with the original speakers.
- The tweeters must be attached to their original location, for example using a hot melt gun.
- if there is no preparation for rear speakers in the vehicle, we recommend purchasing 4x PINs for the ISO connector and 10 m of speaker cable .
- For simple connection to the factory wiring, we recommend purchasing cable adapters .
- The package does not include the screws needed to attach the pads to the vehicle door.
Package contains
- 2 tweeters in the A pillar.
- 2 mid-bass speakers for the rear door.
- 2 pieces of MDF mats for the back door.
- Mounting material included in speaker package.
Door damping
As part of replacing the speakers, we also recommend muting the doors. The application of damping materials will significantly improve not only the bass component and the sound of the mid-bass speaker, but also prevent vibrations and resonances in the door area, which negatively affect the resulting sound. For damping two doors, we recommend purchasing the following damping materials:
- 4 pcs Comfortmat S2
- 1 pc of Comfortmat Tsunami (1/2 sheet is enough for one door)
