Škoda Octavia 1 - replacement of speakers and soundproofing of doors

Replacement of the speakers and soundproofing of the front and rear doors of a first-generation Škoda Octavia. The owner of this very well-preserved example wanted to improve the original factory audio and, at the same time, soundproof all the doors. The most affordable way to improve audio is to replace the factory speakers. For this purpose it’s necessary to choose speakers with high sensitivity so a factory head unit with a weak amplifier can drive them. For such installations we most often choose Hertz CK 165 component speakers, which offer not only very high sound quality but also extreme sensitivity that makes them ideal for factory head units. As part of the installation we soundproofed all the doors, which not only reduces interior noise but also emphasizes the bass component and generally improves the sound of the new speakers. View products >Hide products >
