Skoda Karoq - affordable sound enhancement that will surprise with the result

Škoda Karoq is one of the best-selling cars in its class, yet like many other models it suffers from weak factory sound. Lack of dynamics, a flat sonic character and a missing bass component are common reasons owners turn to us. In this case it was an affordable but effective solution that makes a significant difference in listening quality.

The factory speakers were replaced with a component set from the Italian manufacturer Quartorigo’s Overture line, which in its price category excels with an exceptionally balanced and musical sound and very easy installation. Thanks to their high sensitivity these speakers are ideal for direct connection to the factory head unit without the need for an amplifier – which minimizes intervention in the car and the overall investment. In our extensive comparative test of speakers intended for connection to factory head units they even reached first place in very strong competition. To emphasize the bass we chose a compact active subwoofer, which we placed in the trunk. It provides the necessary depth and punch in the low frequencies, significantly increasing the overall dynamics of the music without limiting the car’s practicality.

The result is a clean, detailed and lively sound with substantially better tonality and range than the factory system. At the same time the original appearance and functionality of all elements remain preserved – and that is the strength of this solution.
