A set of high-quality damping materials for sound deadening of the rear door in the Standard variant. The number of pieces of individual materials corresponds to a standard car, such as the Škoda Octavia. For a more accurate calculation according to the type of car, go to our soundproofing configurator . This set of soundproofing doors in the Standard variant contains the following damping materials for two doors:- 4x Comfortmat Standard S2 anti-vibration material to prevent vibrations of the outer and inner sheet of the door.
- 2x Comfortmat Vision soundproofing material for soundproofing the sheet metal part of the door.
- 2x sound-absorbing foam material Comfortmat Ultrasoft 10 XL for soundproofing the door upholstery.
How to apply a set of dampening materials for soundproofing the front door Standard
- First, remove the plastic door panels from the door.
- Afterwards, thoroughly clean and degrease the door.
- For easy application, we recommend using the Comfortmat Roller .
- Apply the anti-vibration material Comfortmat Standard S2 to the outer sheet of the door.
- Apply Comfortmat Vision as a second layer to the outer sheet.
- Use Comfortmat Standard S2 again on the inner sheet.
- Use Comfortmat Ultrasoft 10 XL for plastic door upholstery.
- Put the plastic door panels back on.
