RUPES D-A Ultra Fine High Performance Ultra Fine Foam Pad foam polishing pads are specially designed for use with orbital and random orbital polishers. They deliver excellent results with significant time savings and lower polishing compound consumption. A higher polisher stroke, for example on RUPES BigFoot machines, creates high mechanical stress on the foam pads, which leads to an increase in the pad's internal temperature. The open-cell structure of RUPES foam pads prevents the build-up of heat generated during polishing. In addition, this construction ensures maximum polishing efficiency while requiring less vertical pressure on the polisher from the operator. The central hole facilitates centering the pad and provides excellent ventilation and heat dissipation through special channels in the backing plate. The conical shape of the pad with an overhang beyond the backing plate optimizes performance and protects against accidental contact between the backing plate and the work surface. White color coding ensures easy identification when selecting RUPES compounds - for the 'white pad' ideally use RUPES UNO Pure Ultra Finishing Polish.
