Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. They have extensive experience producing rubber and textile car mats, rubber trunk trays and other products. When manufacturing car mats and rubber trays, which they produce according to their own patterns and design, they always perform strict inspections of each product. Rigum holds a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps the mat securely in place. The rubber tray reliably protects the original carpet from various dirt. It is brilliant for transporting pets, garden items, construction materials, etc. The rubber trunk tray is made precisely to fit the specific car model, is made of elastic rubber and prevents transported items from shifting. It ensures easy maintenance of the vehicle's luggage compartment. The tray can be rolled up and is therefore very compact. A major advantage of this rubber tray is the 1.5 cm high edge, which prevents the trunk from being soiled in case of a liquid spillage. The tray is equipped with a non-slip layer and holds transported items in place, so you no longer have to rearrange or secure them in the trunk. Cleaning and maintenance of rubber trays
Cleanliness and order in the car is not only an aesthetic matter, but also safer for everything you transport. Dust and coarse dirt that settle in the tray over time can scratch transported items, so it is good to keep the tray clean and tidy. We therefore recommend cleaning the rubber tray at least once every two months, but more often if you transport things frequently. Here is a simple method to do it.- First vacuum the tray thoroughly. (Either in the car or outside.)
- Alternatively, shake out the dirt outside in a suitable place.
- Vacuum the luggage compartment itself.
- Place the tray outside on a clean surface, or hang it on a wall or in a designated place.
- It is desirable that the underside of the rubber tray remains clean.
- Then spray a universal cleaner, e.g. Dodo Juice Total Wipe Out All Purpose Cleaner and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the tray is heavily soiled, use a brush, e.g. ADBL Ther Brush.
- Ideally, rinse off the dirt with a pressure washer and allow to air dry.
- If you cannot rinse the tray with a pressure washer, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers and gradually wipe off the cleaner.
- Return the clean and dry rubber tray to the car.
