Rigum rubber trunk liner for BYD Seal U Hybrid (2023-)
Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. They have extensive experience producing rubber and textile car mats, rubber trunk liners and other products. When producing car mats and rubber liners, which they manufacture according to their own patterns and design, they always perform strict inspections of every product. Rigum has a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps the mat firmly in place. The rubber liner reliably protects the original carpet from various dirt. It is brilliant, for example, for transporting pets, gardening items, building materials, etc. The rubber trunk liner is made precisely to fit a specific car model, is made of elastic rubber and prevents transported items from moving on their own. It ensures easy maintenance of the vehicle's cargo area. The liner can be rolled up and is therefore very compact. A major advantage of this rubber liner is the 1.5 cm high edge, which prevents the trunk from getting dirty in case of a liquid spill. The liner is equipped with a non-slip layer and holds transported items in place, so you no longer have to rearrange and secure them in the trunk. For some vehicles it is distinguished whether the liner is for the upper or lower floor.

Cleaning and maintenance of rubber liners
Cleanliness and order in the car are not only a pleasant aesthetic matter, but also safer for everything you transport. Dust and coarse dirt that settle in the liner over time can scratch transported items, so it is good to keep the liner clean and in good condition. We therefore recommend cleaning the rubber liner at least once every two months, but if you frequently transport items, do it more often. We'll show you a simple way to do it.- First, thoroughly vacuum the liner. (Either in the car or outside.)
- Alternatively, shake out the dirt outside in a suitable designated area.
- Vacuum the luggage compartment itself.
- Place the liner outside on a clean surface, or hang it on the wall or in a designated spot.
- It is desirable that the underside of the rubber liner remains clean.
- Then spray an all-purpose cleaner, e.g. Dodo Juice Total Wipe Out All Purpose Cleaner and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the liner is heavily soiled, use a brush, e.g. ADBL Ther Brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off the dirt and let it air dry.
- If it is not possible to rinse the liner with a pressure washer, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers and gradually wipe off the cleaner.
- Once clean and dry, you can return the rubber liner to the car.
