Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. During the production of car mats and rubber mats, which they design and cut themselves, they conduct strict quality checks on each product. Rigum has a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps the mat securely in place. The rubber mat reliably protects the original carpet from various dirt. It's perfect for transporting pets, garden items, construction tools, etc. The trunk mat is tailor-made for specific car models, made from elastic rubber, and prevents items from moving around during transport. A major advantage of this rubber mat is its 1.5 cm high edge, which prevents the trunk from getting dirty in case of liquid spills. Cleaning and Maintenance of Rubber Mats
Keeping your car clean and tidy is not only aesthetically pleasing but also safer for everything you transport. Dust and coarse dirt that accumulate in the mat over time can scratch the items you carry, so it's advisable to maintain the mat in clean condition. We recommend cleaning the rubber mat at least once every two months, or more frequently if you transport items often. Here's a simple way to do it.- First, thoroughly vacuum the mat (either inside or outside of the car).
- If necessary, shake out the dirt outside in a designated and suitable place.
- Vacuum the luggage space itself.
- Place the mat outside on a clean surface, or hang it on a wall or a designated spot.
- It's desirable to keep the underside of the rubber mat clean.
- Then spray a universal cleaner for e.g. universal cleaner Dodo Juice Total Wipe Out All Purpose Cleaner and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the mat is heavily soiled, use a brush (e.g. ADBL Ther Brush skin brush)
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off the dirt and let it air dry.
- If pressure washing is not an option, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers to gradually wipe off the cleaner.
- Return the clean and dry rubber mat to the car.
