Cleaning and Maintenance of Rubber Mats
Maintaining cleanliness and order in the car is not only aesthetically pleasing but also ensures safety for everything you transport. Dust and coarse dirt that accumulate over time can scratch transported items, so it's important to keep the mat clean and in good condition. We recommend cleaning the rubber mat at least once every two months, or more frequently if you often transport items. Here is a simple method to do so.- First, thoroughly vacuum the mat. (Either in the car or outside.)
- Shake out any loose dirt in a designated and suitable area.
- Vacuum the luggage compartment itself.
- Place the mat outside on a clean surface, or hang it on a wall or designated area.
- Ensure the underside of the rubber mat remains clean.
- Spray a universal cleaner and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the mat is heavily soiled, use a brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to remove dirt and let it air dry.
- If a pressure washer is not available, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers to gradually wipe off the cleaner.
- Once clean and dry, you can place the rubber mat back in the car.
