Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. They have extensive experience in producing rubber and textile car mats, trunk rubber trays, and other products. During the production of car mats and rubber trays, which they design and tailor themselves, they conduct strict quality control of each product. Rigum has a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps them securely in place. The bottom side of the rubber mat has a non-slip layer, preventing it from moving. These rubber mats perfectly protect the car's original floor from water, snow, sand, salt, and other dirt, not just in winter. The rubber car mats are custom-made for specific car models, ensuring a perfect fit. Rigum rubber mats are made from elastic rubber. A major advantage is the 1.5 cm high edge, preventing dirt and liquid spills beyond the mat. If the original car mats have snap-on fasteners, Rigum mats include them too.

Cleaning and Maintenance of Rigum Rubber Car Mats

Cleanliness and order in the car are not only pleasant aesthetic matters but also a safety issue. Dust and coarse dirt that settle over time on the mat cause dust circulation in the vehicle's interior, which is continuously inhaled. (Foot movement while driving stirs up dust.) More importantly, as the amount of coarse dirt increases, there's a risk of shoe slippage, especially if your footwear is wet. Therefore, we recommend cleaning rubber car mats at least once a month, or more frequently if you drive daily. Here's a simple process:

First, thoroughly vacuum the mats. (In the car or outside.)
Shake out dirt from the mat outside in a suitable area.
Vacuum the car's floor - the carpet.
Place the mats outside on a clean surface or hang them on a wall or suitable area.
Ensure the bottom side of the rubber mat remains clean.
Spray a universal cleaner gradually on all mats and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
If the mats are heavily soiled, use a brush.
Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off dirt and let the mats air dry.
If pressure washing isn't possible, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers to wipe off the cleaner.
Return clean and dry rubber mats to the car.
