Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. They have extensive experience in producing rubber and textile car mats, rubber trunk liners, and other products. During the production of car mats and rubber liners, which they design and cut themselves, they always conduct strict quality control of each product. Rigum has a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps the mat in place. The underside of the rubber mat has a non-slip layer, preventing it from moving. Rubber mats perfectly protect the car's original floor from water, snow, sand, salt, and other dirt, not just in winter. Cleaning and Maintenance of Rigum Rubber Car Mats
Cleanliness and order in the car are not just about aesthetics but also safety. Dust and coarse dirt that accumulate on the mat over time cause dust to swirl inside the vehicle, which settles and is inhaled. (Foot movements while driving stir up dust.) Even worse, as coarse dirt accumulates, there is a risk of shoe slippage, especially if your footwear is wet. Therefore, we recommend cleaning rubber car mats at least once a month, or more frequently if you drive daily. Here's a simple guide on how to do it:- First, thoroughly vacuum the mats. (Either inside the car or outside.)
- Shake out any dirt from the mats outside in a designated and suitable area.
- Vacuum the car's floor itself.
- Place the mats outside on a clean surface or hang them on a wall or a designated area.
- It's desirable for the underside of the rubber mat to remain clean.
- Then, spray a universal cleaner, step by step, on all mats and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the mats are heavily soiled, use a brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off dirt and let the mats dry naturally.
- If it's not possible to rinse the mat with water pressure, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers to gradually wipe off the cleaner.
- Once clean and dry, return the rubber mats to the car.
