Rigum is a traditional Czech manufacturer based in Dubňany, in the heart of South Moravia. They have extensive experience in producing rubber and textile car mats, rubber trunk trays, and other products. During the production of car mats and rubber trays, which they design and cut themselves, they conduct strict quality checks on each product. Rigum has a patented fixation system for car mats that keeps the mat securely in place. The underside of the rubber mat features a non-slip layer, preventing it from moving. Rubber mats perfectly protect the original car floor from water, snow, sand, salt, and other dirt, not just in winter. The rubber car mats are made to measure for a specific car model, ensuring a perfect fit. Rigum rubber mats are made from elastic rubber. One of their great advantages is the 1.5 cm high edge, which prevents floor contamination and liquid spills beyond the mat. If the original car mats have snap fasteners, Rigum mats include them as well.

Cleaning and Maintenance of Rigum Rubber Car Mats

Cleanliness and order in the car are not just pleasant aesthetics but also about safety. Dust and coarse dirt, which accumulate over time on the mat, cause dust swirling in the car's interior, which you breathe in. (Foot movement while driving swirls the dust.) Worse still, the increasing amount of coarse dirt poses a risk of shoe slipping, especially if your footwear is wet. Therefore, we recommend cleaning rubber car mats at least once a month, or more often if you drive daily. Here's a simple guide on how to do it:

First, thoroughly vacuum the mats. (Either in the car or outside.)
Shake out the dirt from the mat outside in a designated area.
Vacuum the car floor itself - the carpet.
Place the mats outside on a clean surface or hang them on a wall or designated spot.
Ensure the underside of the rubber mat remains clean.
Spray a universal cleaner gradually on all mats and let it sit for 1 to 2 minutes.
If the mats are heavily soiled, use a brush.
Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off the dirt and let the mats air dry.
If pressure washing is not an option, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers to wipe off the cleaner.
Once clean and dry, you can place the rubber mats back in the car.
