Leather Expert Leather Finish Remover - Leather Preparer
Leather Preparer prepares the leather surface for dyeing. Always use in combination with a cotton cloth or a sanding pad. The leather preparer is used when restoring various types of leather, footwear, leather goods, handbags, etc., as well as in cars and on leather furniture. For use on natural leather only. Do not use on eco-leather, suede or nubuck!Main features
- Gentle, non-irritating scent.
- Very effective at removing old dyes and varnishes.
- Designed for professional and amateur use.
How to use
- Make sure the leather is well cleaned and prepared.
- Use Leather Cleaner or Leather Mousse for cleaning.
- Then partially remove old coatings with the Leather Preparer.
- Use in conjunction with a cotton cloth or a sanding pad.
- Leather Alcohol Cleaner is used to degrease the surface and remove residues of dissolved dye.
- Leather prepared this way will increase the adhesion of the dye.
- Apply Leather Colorant with a sponge or spray gun until you are satisfied with the result.
- For better protection of the coating, apply Leather Top Coat.
- Do not clean or use the leather for five days after repair.
