Completely redesigned for 2022, the 2XL series delivers crystal clear sound quality with deep, warm bass tones. If you need high-quality speakers and at the same time have a vehicle with special installation requirements, this range is ideal for you. The 2XL series uses a 3-0 system, 3 ohm impedance for more efficient use of your amplifier's power. With a butyl rubber suspension, you get high efficiency and lower bass response with less distortion. The tweeter's new silk diaphragm and non-woven paper and wool diaphragm work together to give you a deep, warm and precise sound that you can listen to for hours without tiring. The redesigned tweeters use high quality Emperors silk that has been enhanced with Ferrofluid®. Ferrofluid is a liquid filled with magnetic particles that was developed at NASA - it creates less friction, resulting in louder high frequencies without distortion.
