Porsche steering wheel adapter
Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:
- Porsche Cayenne (2011 -> 2016) - PCM 3.1 - Fakra connector, without amplifier
- Porsche Macan 95B (2011 -> 2016) - PCM 3.1 - Fakra connector, without amplifier
- Porsche Panamera (2009 -> 2016) - PCM 3.1 - Fakra connector, without amplifier
- Porsche 911 991 (2011 -> 2016) - PCM 3.1 - Fakra connector, without amplifier
Important additional information
- For cars with steering wheel control, FAKRA connector, without active audio system.
- The adapter supports the buttons on the steering wheel to control the hands-free kit.
- For vehicles without amplifier.
- It retains steering wheel controls, phone buttons, AUX and USB inputs, reversing camera and parking sensor audio.
- Provides outputs for parking brake, reverse, pulse rate, mute and amplifier remote control.
- Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
- To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)
The adapter includes wires with analog signals
- +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15).
- +12 V after turning on the vehicle lighting.
- +12 V after engaging reverse gear.
