Porsche 911 GTS Cabrio - new sound system (replacement for Bose Sound System)

Replacement of the factory Bose sound system in a Porsche 911 GTS Cabriolet. The demanding owner of this beauty wanted to enjoy his favorite music in proper quality in addition to the roar of the engine, which the factory Bose system unfortunately did not allow. In this project we therefore focused primarily on achieving high sound quality with as few compromises as possible. However, the factory Bose audio system practically prevents this, as it includes fixed crossovers and other functions that complicate obtaining a high-quality audio signal. We are not afraid of challenges, and finding solutions that deliver uncompromising sound is a pleasure for us. For the Porsche 911 we provided a digital integration module that allows replacing the factory Bose amplifier and supplies a clean signal for audiophile-quality sound without limiting any functions of the original system. Within the set budget we opted for a three-way speaker system made up of top-tier components from Morel and Gladen's highest model lines. All components were connected to a Helix amplifier, which, thanks to its compact dimensions, we installed in the vehicle's floor area. At the end of the installation we performed measurements and careful tuning of the sound on a DSP processor to achieve highly faithful sound tailored both to the driver and to the specifics of this particular car.
