The medium-hard polishing pad is designed for effective removal of medium-heavy paint defects and scratches. Thanks to innovative technology with a central hole, it ensures optimal cooling and even distribution of polishing compound during work. It is an ideal tool for achieving a clean surface with high gloss in single-stage or multi-stage paint polishing.
During machine polishing, high friction occurs which generates heat and can adversely affect the paint, the pad itself and the polishing compound. The Centriforce V2 range provides a solution in the form of a conical center hole. This design significantly improves cooling during use and at the same time creates a centrifugal force that returns excess polishing compound back to the pad's working surface, preventing waste.
The yellow Medium Cut variant features medium-hard foam made in Germany, offering a balanced ratio between cutting power and final gloss. It is designed for correction of light to medium paint damage, such as fine scratches, circular marks from car washes or oxidation. The pad retains its stability and shape even under prolonged load, ensuring consistent results throughout polishing.
The conical shape with a wider polishing surface provides increased safety when working around edges and in hard-to-reach areas of the body, as it minimizes the risk of the backing plate contacting the paint. How to use
- Select a suitable 150 mm backing plate and center the polishing pad on it.
- Apply an appropriate amount of medium-abrasive polishing compound to the pad's working surface.
- Place the pad against the paint surface before starting the polisher to avoid splattering the compound.
- Polish with cross-pattern movements using light pressure at optimal machine speeds.
- Continuously monitor the paint temperature and the state of the applied compound.
- After finishing work or when the pad is saturated with compound, thoroughly clean it using compressed air, a pad brush or wash it.
- Rinse the pad with lukewarm water.
- Apply a cleaner designed for polishing pads or a mild detergent without fabric softener.
- Gently rub the foam with your fingers or a soft brush until polishing compound residues are released.
- Rinse thoroughly with water until only clear water runs from the pad.
- Gently squeeze out excess water – do not twist or overly squeeze the pad to avoid damaging the foam.
- Let it air dry with the Velcro side up, away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Proper maintenance significantly extends its service life and preserves polishing performance.
- After finishing work, it is important to clean the polishing pad as soon as possible to prevent polishing compound residues from drying inside it.
