Comfortmat Felt is a material with a high capability to absorb both external and internal noise. It is made from acoustic felt using thermal bonding technology. External sounds penetrate the material and are dispersed thanks to its structure. For this reason the noise level is reduced several times, also because the material does not reflect noise but absorbs it. This type of material is especially popular with German and Japanese car manufacturers, who use it as factory soundproofing material. You can use it to soundproof almost any vehicle surface thanks to its high flexibility. However, it also finds use outside the automotive industry, for example in recording studios, when installing walls, etc. It includes a durable self-adhesive layer that remains stable even at high temperatures. Felt also provides moisture protection and increases electrical and fire safety not only in the vehicle.
