Nakamichi NAM5721 is a modern multimedia car stereo designed as a universal infotainment and high-quality audio center for more demanding installations. Compared to the base models in the NAM series, it offers enhanced video and audio features and higher hardware performance, making it suitable for both everyday users and more technically advanced audio systems. The system runs NK 13.0, providing smooth operation, fast response and wide compatibility with apps and external devices. The main element is a large touch IPS display with 1920 × 720 px resolution, 500 nits brightness and 2.5D G+G glass. It delivers finer image quality, better readability in direct sunlight and more comfortable navigation and media handling. The multimedia section supports video playback up to Full HD and a wide range of common formats. The package also includes an HDMI output for connecting an external monitor or rear-seat screens for passengers. The audio section emphasizes extensive tuning options and integration into external audio systems. The built-in amplifier (4 × 50 W) is complemented by a 36-band equalizer that allows very precise sound tuning for a specific vehicle and speaker setup. A 4.1 RCA pre-out (front, rear channels and subwoofer) is available for connecting external amplifiers, and an optical SPDIF digital output enables digital connection to DSP processors or amplifiers without signal degradation.
