Mercedes steering wheel adapter
Adapter for activating the control buttons on the steering wheel when buying an aftermarket car radio with an ISO connector (included in the adapter) for vehicles:
- Mercedes-Benz C-Class W204 (2007 -> 2012)
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class W212, C207, A207 (2009 -> 2017)
Important additional information
- The CTSMC016.2 is a CAN Bus interface for steering wheel controls for selected Mercedes Benz vehicles.
- This interface helps when installing an aftermarket head unit.
- Once installed, the interface works to retain the steering wheel controls, factory phone buttons as well as the OEM boosted system. Note: new stereo must have RCA audio output jacks.
- Designed for aftermarket Sony, Kenwood, Panasonic, JVC, Pioneer, Blaupunkt, Clarion, Alpine, LG, Zenec, Becker car radios.
- To fully activate the adapter, it is necessary to order a connecting cable for the given brand of car radio! (see below)
The adapter includes wires with analog signals
- +12 V after turning on the key (vol. 15).
- +12 V after turning on the vehicle lighting.
- +12 V after engaging reverse gear.
- Speed pulses.
