Meguiar’s 7" Soft Buff Rotary Foam Polishing Pad (model WRFP7) is a high-quality pad designed for professional paint restoration using rotary polishers. Thanks to new foam technology, it effectively removes light to medium surface defects (e.g. fine scratches, swirl marks) while restoring high gloss. The 7" (~178 mm) diameter also helps reduce vibrations ("chatter") during use, improving comfort and result quality. The pad has a recessed backing for easy centering and attaches via a hook & loop system for quick changes and secure mounting. For optimal performance it is intended for use with rotary polishers and compatible Meguiar’s backing plates.

How to use

• The surface must be clean, dry and out of direct sunlight.
• Ensure the polisher is turned off and disconnected from power.
• Attach a backing plate compatible with the rotary polisher, then mount the WRFP7 pad using the hook & loop system and ensure it is properly centered (the recessed backing helps).
• Apply a small amount of a suitable finishing polishing compound to the pad or directly to the panel.
• Turn on the polisher, set the recommended speed for final polishing, and work panel by panel with even overlapping passes. Monitor to avoid overheating the paint.
• After finishing a panel, immediately remove product residue with a microfiber cloth before it dries.
• After completing the whole vehicle remove the pad, clean it (e.g. with water and a brush for foam pads), allow to dry and store in a dry place ready for the next use.
• It is recommended to apply a protective product (e.g. sealant or wax) after final polishing to extend the effect.
