Meguiar’s 7" Soft Buff Rotary Heavy Cutting Wool Pad (WRWHC7) is a professional polishing pad designed for rotary polishers, intended for intensive correction of automotive paint. The pad is made from 1" long braided wool fibers that provide fast and effective removal of sanding marks, oxidation and other deeper paint defects. Thanks to the pad's flat design, the contact area is increased, which speeds up work and improves efficiency. Meguiar’s 8" Soft Buff Rotary Wool Cutting Pad WRWC8 is a professional polishing pad made from 100% natural sheepswool with 1.25" braided fibers and a four-layer construction for maximum cutting performance.

How to use

The paint surface must be clean, dry, cool and out of direct sunlight.
Ensure the polisher is switched off, attach a suitable backing plate (e.g. WRBP or WRSBP) to the spindle.
Attach the WRWHC7 pad using the hook-and-loop – make sure it is properly centered.
Apply a small amount of an appropriate cutting compound to the pad or directly onto the panel.
Work panel by panel with the polisher: use medium to high speeds and light pressure; monitor surface temperature and stop if the paint overheats.
After finishing each panel, immediately wipe off compound residue with a microfiber cloth to avoid unnecessary marring.
When finished, remove the pad, clean it (e.g. rinse with water), allow to dry and store in a dry place.
After aggressive correction it is recommended to follow up with a finer finishing pad and then apply a protective layer (wax, sealant or ceramic).
