Meguiar’s Professional Compound Foam Pads are professional foam correction pads designed for intensive removal of deeper paint defects such as scratches, sanding marks, holograms, water spots and other imperfections. In combination with an appropriate compound and a rotary or orbital polisher, they deliver excellent results when preparing the paint for further polishing and final finishing. The pads are washable, reusable and due to their construction provide high efficiency without creating additional defects.

How to use
- Ensure the paint is thoroughly washed, decontaminated and free of grease.
- The surface must be clean and dry for the most effective correction.
- Attach the foam correction pad to the backing plate of a rotary or orbital polisher of the appropriate size.
- Make sure the pad is properly centered.
- Apply a small amount of correction compound directly to the pad or to the area being treated.
- Work in small sections (approx. 30–50 cm).
- Keep the polisher moving continuously and apply even pressure.
- Avoid staying too long in one spot to prevent overheating the paint.
- After finishing a section, remove compound residue with a clean microfiber towel and check the result.
- Repeat the process if necessary.
- After use, clean the pad thoroughly and let it dry before the next use.
- For maximum gloss we recommend following up with a finer polishing pad and a final polishing compound.
