Thanks to its 1.5 mm width it is suitable for fine lines, narrow transitions, decorative color separation and detailed work. The tape is more flexible than classic masking tapes, so it better conforms to curved surfaces and helps create a clean edge without paint bleed. You will use it when repairing leather seats, steering wheels, upholstery, footwear, leather goods and other leather accessories. The tape of this type is specified as 1.5 mm × 18 m and is blue for easy visibility during work.

Instructions for use

• Before application make sure the surface is clean, dry and degreased.
• Apply the tape to the area you want to protect from paint or lacquer.
• When applying to curves work slowly and guide the tape smoothly without sharp stretching.
• After applying, press the tape gently along its entire length.
• Check that it adheres well, especially on edges, in folds and along curves.
• After application you can continue with applying paint, lacquer or another restoration product.
• Remove the tape carefully, ideally before the applied layer fully cures.
• Before use on a sensitive or newly painted surface we recommend testing the tape on a less visible area.
