Leather Expert masking tape is a professional thin tape designed for precise masking when dyeing, lacquering and renovating leather. With a width of 2 mm it is ideal for creating fine lines, separating colours, masking edges, folds and more complex shapes. The tape conforms well to curved surfaces, does not tear and helps create a clean edge without unnecessary colour bleed. Use it when renovating leather seats, steering wheels, upholstery, furniture, footwear and other leather accessories. The manufacturer recommends application at a temperature of +18 to +35 °C on a clean, dry and degreased surface.

Instructions for use
- Before application make sure the surface is clean, dry and free of grease.
- Apply the tape ideally at a temperature between +18 °C and +35 °C.
- At lower temperatures, lightly warm the tape before use so it becomes more flexible and adheres better.
- Stick the tape to the desired place and press it gently along its entire length.
- When applying on curves work slowly and guide the tape gradually without sharp stretching.
- Check that the tape adheres well, especially on edges and in folds.
- After sticking you can proceed with applying colour, lacquer or another renovation product.
- Remove the tape carefully, ideally before the applied layer fully cures.
- Before use on a sensitive surface we recommend testing the tape on a less visible area.
