How to check whether the leather is absorbent?
Apply a drop of water to the leather and wait a few minutes. Absorbent leather (aniline) will absorb the water; on finished leather the drop will remain unchanged. If the water does not soak in but leaves a wet spot, it means the leather is semi-aniline.How to use
- Thoroughly clean the leather with Leather Cleaner or Leather Mousse.
- Using a soft sponge, rub the balm into the leather in circular motions and let it absorb for 10 minutes.
- Then "polish" the leather with a microfiber cloth.
- For a darkening effect, apply additional layers.
- Use Leather Conditioner for final protection.
- Do not use on eco-leather, suede or nubuck!
