Koch Chemie One Cut Foam Pad (45 x 25 mm)
Medium-hard polishing pad for polishing medium to heavily weathered paints and removing medium scratches using the polishing paste Koch Chemie One Cut & Finish P6.02. The small height of the pad, 25 mm, generates low torsional forces, allowing for very good handling and maximum stability. The special foam density allows for long-lasting firmness under compressive forces during polishing. The beveled edge provides greater flexibility, allowing the pad to better adapt to body transitions and angles. The pad's color coding matches the polishing paste's color coding for easier selection of the correct paste.

Care for Polishing Pads
- Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing abilities.
- The temperature of the pad itself, which can heat up significantly during paint polishing, is very important for the pad's longevity.
- If you polish the paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, it will significantly shorten its lifespan.
- Monitor the temperature and allow the pad to cool down if it overheats.
- Both the foam and the pad's adhesive suffer at high temperatures.
- Regularly clean the pad during the polishing process; otherwise, it will stop functioning effectively.
- Once the pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs addressing.
- You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, using it empty-handed to brush away the old paste.
- Hold the brush in hand and let the polisher rotate the pad. Be careful not to throw the used paste onto the polished car paint.
- If you have an air compressor, use it to blow out the pad with the polisher running.
- After successful machine polishing, the pad should be prepared for future use.
- We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C with a detergent suitable for microfiber. We recommend using a high-quality detergent that works excellently.
- Never wash pads with towels or cloths!
- Do not put pads in a dryer; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
- If you don't have a washing machine, you can wash pads by hand using an APC cleaner diluted at a 1:6 ratio.
- Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a clean, closed plastic box.
