It excels in the medium stage of polishing and in multi-step corrections on all paints.

Polishing Pads Honey COMBination O.C.F.-series

Honey Combination Classic OCF is a series of highly advanced polishing pads made from open-cell foam, designed for rotary polishers. By using carefully selected open-cell foam, the OCF Classic pads offer unique polishing strength while ensuring unprecedented airflow. This feature allows, for example, to reduce the temperature of the polished surface, the pads, and the polishing machine. The safe thickness of the pad and the side profile with a thoughtfully rounded shape provide higher comfort, work safety, and precision in hard-to-reach places.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

  • Caring for polishing pads is very important for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
  • During use, the temperature of the pad itself is crucial for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
  • If you polish paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, you significantly shorten its lifespan.
  • Therefore, monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
  • High temperatures affect both the foam and the pad's adhesive.
  • Polishing pads need frequent cleaning during the polishing process, or they will stop functioning, and paint polishing will not be effective.
  • Once the polishing pad is clogged with polishing paste, it needs to be addressed.
  • You can use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds, empty in hand, and brush away the old paste. Just hold the brush in your hand and let the polisher rotate the pad.
  • Be careful not to throw used paste onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
  • If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad with the polisher turned on in the same way.
  • After successful machine polishing, the pad should also be put in a state for ideal future use.
  • We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent suitable for microfiber.
  • We recommend using a high-quality detergent.
  • Never wash pads with towels or cloths!
  • After washing, do not put the pads in a dryer, but let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
  • If you don't have access to a washing machine, you can wash the pads by hand using an APC cleaner, diluting it in a 1:6 ratio.
  • Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
