The Honey COMBination Polishing Pad Beast is an extremely aggressive polishing pad. Made from 100% synthetic fiber, it features a unique composition and structure that differs from standard microfiber. It combines two types of short synthetic fibers - white and blue, which, despite its immense cutting power, leaves a flawlessly shiny finish. BEAST is the most aggressive pad in the Honey COMBination range, comparable only to the Ultra Cut Wool Pad. However, its significantly shorter fibers and unique structure provide greater cleanliness during work and longer retention of the compound on the working surface of the pad.

How to Care for Polishing Pads

• Caring for polishing pads is crucial for their longevity and future polishing capabilities.
• The temperature of the pad itself is very important for its lifespan, as it can heat up to high temperatures when polishing paint.
• If you polish paint for an extended period and frequently overheat the pad, its lifespan will be significantly reduced.
• Monitor the temperature, and if the pad is overheated, let it cool down for a while.
• Both the foam and the pad's adhesive suffer at high temperatures.
• The polishing pad needs to be cleaned frequently during polishing, or it will stop working effectively.
• Once the polishing pad is loaded with compound, it needs to be addressed.
• Use a medium-soft brush and set the polisher to lower speeds to brush out the old compound.
• Be careful not to spread used compound onto the polished car paint during rotary cleaning.
• If you have an air compressor, you can use it to blow out the pad in the same manner while the polisher is running.
• After successful machine polishing, the pad needs to be restored to be ideally used in the future.
• We recommend washing the polishing pad in a washing machine at 40°C using a detergent for microfiber.
• Never wash pads together with towels or cloths!
• Do not tumble dry the pads; let them air dry on a drying towel with the polishing side down.
• If a washing machine is unavailable, hand wash the pads using an APC cleaner diluted in a 1:6 ratio.
• Polishing pads should be stored in a dry place away from direct sunlight, ideally in a closed clean plastic box.
