Digital Input Module HELIX HDM 1 - P One
With the HELIX Digital Input Module (HDM), your HELIX amplifier moves to a new level and enters the digital era without compromise. The module extends amplifiers with an integrated HDM slot by one optical digital stereo input and enables completely noise-free, galvanically isolated signal transmission in the highest possible quality directly into the amplifier. Via an optical cable it can process digital audio signals up to a 96 kHz sampling rate and converts them back to analog using a pair of high-end BurrBrown D/A converters. That's not all — to achieve the amplifier's absolute maximum performance and eliminate even the smallest influences from its input stage, the SPDIF Direct In function can be used. This allows routing the audio signal from the HDM module directly, without any additional path, into the amplifier's power stages. Thanks to this, your HELIX amplifier is fully future-ready and ideally equipped for combination with our digital signal processors.
