i7 – High-end units made in Germany
The HELIX COMPOSE i7 range represents uncompromising high-end performance for an outstanding in-car audio experience. With obvious influence from sister high-end brand BRAX, the i7 speakers are entirely manufactured in Germany and optimized for an uncompromising musical experience. All speaker impedances are perfectly matched for use with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, guaranteeing maximum performance in all conditions. HELIX COMPOSE also introduces four new mechanical technologies that offer unparalleled practical benefits.
High efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE is the embodiment of intelligent engineering. Thanks to highly efficient 3 ohm technology, it is perfectly tuned to HELIX and MATCH amplifiers while offering a noticeable increase in efficiency and maximum acoustic output.
UHD (Ultra High Damping)
With clear influence from sister brand BRAX and the uncompromising philosophy of high-end design, the i7 line uses only top-quality components, such as the patented, handmade UHD (Ultra High Damping) paper cone. This cone, produced through an especially complex process, ensures optimal frequency response and the best possible transient response for an unparalleled musical experience.
High-tech polymer basket
All HELIX COMPOSE i7 and i3 speaker baskets are made from a high-tech polymer composite further reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, elimination of magnetic flux modulation, and maximum resistance to thermal effects. Last but not least, this enables a much more compact basket design, simplifying installation in tight mounting conditions.
FlexMount100 - universal and vehicle-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows installation of COMPOSE FlexMount speakers in almost unlimited vehicle applications. A universal speaker thus effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific unit that can be easily installed in the vehicle’s original mounting location and acoustically optimized using the appropriate rotatable FlexMount100 adapter ring.
FlexConnect - one terminal for all situations
With the FlexConnect terminal, HELIX COMPOSE speakers can be easily connected directly to the vehicle’s original wiring harness while maintaining the automotive plug-standard connection and providing reverse polarity protection. Like the FlexMount system, this technology relies on specially developed, vehicle-specific adapters.
