The i3 coaxial system delivers everything you would expect from a great two-way system. Thanks to the use of high-quality materials and exceptionally smart engineering, premium sound is comfortably brought into the car. All components work together perfectly and form an ideal team with HELIX and MATCH amplifiers, ensuring maximum performance and output power in all conditions. In addition, new mechanical technology has been implemented with a clear focus on safety during wiring and operation to create ideal conditions for vehicle integration with maximum compatibility.
High efficiency
HELIX COMPOSE means smart engineering — which is why it uses a highly efficient 3-ohm design that pairs perfectly with all HELIX and MATCH amplifiers. The result is a noticeable increase in efficiency and maximum acoustic output. Some models will also be available as optional 2-ohm variants, which ensure absolutely maximum power and output of the respective speaker when combined with a suitable amplifier.Cenosphere paper cone
Thanks to the innovative "Cenosphere" surface treatment, hollow spheres are incorporated into the polyamide layer applied to the cone. This process increases stiffness and also optimizes internal damping. The result is an exceptionally stable yet lightweight cone that offers outstanding accuracy in sound reproduction.
High-tech polymer basket
All HELIX COMPOSE i7 and i3 baskets are made from a high-tech polymer composite further reinforced with glass beads. The result: maximum stability with minimal self-resonance, elimination of modulation of the magnetic system’s flux, and maximum resistance to thermal influences. Last but not least, this allows for much more compact basket dimensions, simplifying installation in confined mounting spaces.
Stunning highs and excellent stability
The 0.75" / 20 mm tweeter features an innovative titanium dome that combines excellent stability with low moving mass, high internal damping and enormous thermal resistance — perfectly engineered for brilliant, uncompressed high-frequency reproduction.
FlexMount100 — universal and vehicle-specific
FlexMount is a mounting system based on specially developed adapter rings that allows COMPOSE FlexMount speakers to be installed in nearly unlimited numbers of vehicles. A universal speaker thus effortlessly becomes a vehicle-specific speaker that can be easily installed into the vehicle’s original mounting location using the appropriate FlexMount adapter ring in an acoustically optimized way.
FlexConnect — one terminal for all applications
Using the FlexConnect terminal, HELIX COMPOSE speakers can be easily connected directly to the vehicle’s original wiring harness while retaining the automotive-standard plug connection and guaranteeing protection against polarity reversal. Like the brand’s FlexMount system, this technology relies on specially developed vehicle-specific adapters.
