Helix AMI Measurement Audio Interface
The AMI (Audio Measurement Interface) is a precise measurement device designed for analysis of both electrical and acoustic signals. Maximum flexibility when working with signals
AMI offers a microphone input compatible with any condenser microphone, complemented by adjustable gain and optional phantom power – ideal for professional acoustic measurements. There is also a line input with switchable sensitivity (1 V or up to 40 V) for analysis of both low- and high-level signals. The signal output is available via RCA as well as optical, allowing direct connection to DSP units. A loopback function is also included for advanced measurements, such as detailed phase analysis or comprehensive evaluation of the signal path.
Perfect synergy with DSP PC-Tool
Full compatibility with DSP PC-Tool from Audiotec Fischer turns AMI into a sophisticated measurement tool that fully exploits its potential. It includes support for AISA (Advanced Input Signal Analyzer) to detect and correct factory equalizations, time alignment or all-pass filters. Also included are RTA (Real-Time Analyzer) for detailed frequency response measurements and automatic fine-tuning via the TuneEQ algorithm, as well as ATM (Automatic Time Measurement) for automatic calibration of speaker delays – resulting in perfect time alignment and a realistic sound image.

AMI is powered via USB, so no external power supply is required. The package includes a premium 3 m USB-C cable with a USB-A adapter, an RCA high-level connector and a 16 GB USB 3.0 flash drive with preinstalled DSP calibration tracks. The device is compatible with Windows 10 and 11, macOS, Android and iOS and supports ASIO drivers for professional applications. Just connect and you can start measuring with maximum accuracy anywhere you are.
