Gyeon Q² Aero is the ultimate ceramic coating designed for aircraft, which—compared to ordinary vehicles—operates under extreme conditions. Exposure to UV radiation or large temperature fluctuations is on a completely different scale, so Gyeon introduced its ceramic coating for aircraft. This is an extremely strong single-layer solution intended for aircraft that provides a high level of protection against corrosion and paint discoloration. Q² Aero underwent extensive testing according to the Boeing D6-17487T standard at a testing facility based in the USA and met all criteria of that standard. This approval makes the product safe to use on all aircraft and on large commercial and private jets or helicopters.

How to use

• Never apply the coating in direct sunlight or on a hot aircraft surface.
• First, thoroughly wash the aircraft with a quality shampoo without added gloss enhancers or protections. It must be a plain car shampoo.
• Decontaminate the paint from fallout rust, tar and insect residues.
• For this we recommend using products Gyeon Q²M Iron REDEFINED, Gyeon Q²M Tar REDEFINED and Gyeon Q²M Bug&Grime.
• If necessary, perform mechanical paint decontamination using clay.
• You can read the claying procedure for example in our article "How to decontaminate paint". 
• After claying is completed, wash the aircraft again with shampoo, rinse and thoroughly dry it with a quality drying towel.
• The aircraft must be completely dry.
• There must not be any residual water from washing present during the ceramic coating application.
• The last, but very important step, is thorough degreasing.
• We recommend degreasing the aircraft twice using the product Gyeon Q²M Prep and a long-pile microfiber towel Purestar Grass Buffing Towel.
• After that, the paint is responsibly prepared for the ceramic coating application.
• Without proper preparation the ceramic coating will not work correctly!
• Always wear protective rubber gloves before application; health comes first!
• Shake the bottle with the ceramic coating.
• Dispense the ceramic coating onto the supplied application sponge.
• Apply with cross motions to an area no larger than 50 x 50 cm.
• After application, immediately wipe the coating off with a microfiber cloth (e.g. Gyeon Q²M PolishWipe EVO, or Gyeon Q²M SoftWipe EVO).
• Work gradually, in sections.
• We recommend changing towels during application, as over time the towel will load up and can leave marks that, once dried, cannot be removed. Our recommendation is to have 3 to 4 microfiber towels for polishing the coating.
• The microfiber towel must not fall on the floor!
• Don’t forget quality illumination of the paint surface.
• After successful application we recommend leaving the aircraft for at least 12 hours in a warm, dry place so the coating can cure properly.
• Do not wash the aircraft for 2 weeks after application; rain does not affect the coating.
• Subsequent maintenance after applying the ceramic coating is very simple—just wash the aircraft with a quality shampoo, for example Gyeon Q²M Bathe. Everything else is unrestricted.
