Long-throw motor with advanced magnetic system

The ZETA 10 subwoofer is designed with emphasis on high power handling, low distortion and long-term operational stability. At its core is a powerful long-throw motor system with a large 145 mm magnet and a 2" voice coil. The motor includes two integrated aluminum shorting rings that stabilize the magnetic field at higher cone excursions and significantly reduce nonlinear distortion at high volumes. This allows the subwoofer to retain precise control and a clean character even under very dynamic loads.

Aluminum cone

The extremely stiff aluminum cone ensures clean piston motion even at large excursions and also contributes to efficient heat dissipation under high continuous loads. A newly developed, optimized outer surround guarantees stable guidance during long excursions and limits mechanical nonlinearities at higher volumes. The reinforced aluminum pressure basket is fully ventilated and complemented by additional ventilation ports in the neck area of the cone, which reduce air compression and minimize audible air turbulence. The result is cleaner, calmer bass performance without distracting artifacts.

2" voice coil

The voice coil is wound on a robust fiberglass former and features a four-layer construction that increases cone control and improves thermal stability during prolonged loads. A linearly designed spider ensures precise cone guidance, stable parameters and long life even under extreme operating conditions. Thanks to the combination of high linear excursion, a stable motor and effective cooling, the Zeta 10 is also suitable for demanding applications where high dynamics are required without compromise in sound quality.

Wiring flexibility and compact installation

The Zeta 10 is equipped with dual 2 Ohm voice coils, offering high flexibility in wiring design and allowing optimal matching to power amplifiers. This makes it easy to combine the subwoofer with powerful amplifiers in various configurations. The driver's optimized parameters allow use in both sealed and ported enclosures, while the subwoofer maintains control even in smaller volumes.
