The Geyer & Hosaja car mat brand comes from Poland, where the rubber industry is world-class. The company specializes in manufacturing a wide range of rubber products, and car mats are only one part of their production. That does not mean the mats are of lower quality — quite the opposite! The black Geyer & Hosaja mats are molded from high-quality, heavy rubber with enhanced abrasion resistance. They are additionally reinforced in the foot and heel support areas, which ensures exceptional durability and longevity. The mats therefore have a very robust feel. Geyer & Hosaja mats are always designed for a specific car model. They are 100% matched to the vehicle floor shape, including original mounting points where available. Raised edges and the modern "Honeycomb" pattern prevent water, sand, snow and other dirt from escaping the mat. The raised edges reliably stop water from spilling onto the carpet, protecting the floor from dirt and moisture. Thanks to precise manufacturing and special anti-slip studs the mats do not move during driving. Last but not least, Geyer & Hosaja rubber mats look better in the car than ordinary checkered mats. Cleaning and maintenance of rubber car mats
Cleanliness and order in the car is not only an aesthetic matter but also a safety issue. Dust and coarse dirt that accumulate on the mat over time cause dust to swirl in the interior, which settles there and you constantly breathe it in (the movement of the feet while driving stirs up dust). Even worse, as coarse dirt accumulates there is a risk of shoe slippage, especially if your footwear is wet. Therefore we recommend cleaning rubber mats at least once a month, or more often if you drive daily. Here is a simple procedure to follow.- First, thoroughly vacuum the mats. (Either in the car or outside.)
- Alternatively, shake the dirt out of the mats outside in a suitable place.
- Vacuum the car floor itself - where the mat sits.
- Place the mats outside on a clean surface, or hang them on a wall or designated place.
- It is desirable that the underside of the rubber mat remains clean.
- Then spray a universal cleaner, e.g. Dodo Juice Total Wipe Out All Purpose Cleaner, gradually onto all mats and let it work for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the mats are heavily soiled, use a brush, e.g. ADBL Ther Brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off the dirt and let the mats air-dry.
- If you cannot rinse the mat with a pressure washer, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers and wipe off the cleaner gradually.
- Once clean and dry, return the rubber mats to the car.
