The Geyer & Hosaja car mat brand comes from Poland, where the rubber industry is world-class. This company specializes in producing a wide range of rubber products and car mats themselves make up only one part. That does not mean the mats are of lower quality — quite the opposite! Black Geyer & Hosaja mats are pressed from high-quality, heavy rubber with enhanced abrasion resistance parameters; they are additionally reinforced at the foot and heel support areas, which ensures exceptionally high durability and longevity. The mats therefore have a very robust appearance. Geyer & Hosaja car mats are always intended for a specific car model. They are one hundred percent adapted to the shape of the vehicle floor, including the original fastenings where such an option exists in that model. Raised edges and the modern "Honeycomb" pattern mean that water, sand, snow and other dirt do not get outside the mat. The raised edges reliably prevent water from pouring onto the carpet, protecting the floor from dirt and moisture. Thanks to precise workmanship and special anti-slip protrusions the mats do not shift during driving. Last but not least, Geyer & Hosaja rubber mats look better in the car than ordinary checkered ones. Cleaning and maintenance of rubber car mats
Cleanliness and order in the car is not only a pleasant aesthetic matter, but also a safety issue. Dust and coarse dirt that settle on the mat over time cause dust to swirl in the vehicle interior, which then settles and you breathe it in. (Foot movement while driving stirs up dust.) What is perhaps even worse is that with increasing amounts of coarse dirt there is a risk of the shoe slipping, especially if your footwear is wet. Therefore we recommend cleaning rubber car mats at least once a month, and if you drive daily, even more often. We'll show you a simple procedure on how to do it.- First, vacuum the mats thoroughly. (Either in the car or outside.)
- Alternatively, shake the dirt out of the mats outside in an appropriate place.
- Vacuum the vehicle floor itself after removing the mat.
- Place the mats outside on a clean surface, or hang them on a wall or a designated place.
- It is desirable that the underside of the rubber mat remains clean.
- Then spray a universal cleaner, e.g. Dodo Juice Total Wipe Out All Purpose Cleaner gradually onto all mats and let it act for 1 to 2 minutes.
- If the mats are heavily soiled, use a brush, e.g. ADBL Ther Brush.
- Ideally, use a pressure washer to rinse off the dirt and let the mats air-dry.
- If you cannot rinse the mat with pressure water, use a microfiber cloth with long fibers and gradually wipe away the cleaner.
- Once clean and dry, you can put the rubber mats back into the car.
