Connection cable for steering wheel adapter 42ARC1072
- Patch cable for connecting aftermarket Pioneer head units (AVH, DMH and SPH; model years 2021 onwards) to a steering wheel control adapter (LFB/SWC).
- Different radio manufacturers use various types of control inputs: single-wire, two- and multi-wire (Key1/Key2/GND) or input via a 3.5 mm jack – the exact variant is always stated in the BDA (manual) of the specific head unit.
- All required connection wires must be connected before connecting the interface to the vehicle.
- For some head units it is necessary to additionally “teach” (remap) the steering wheel button functions in the unit menu according to the radio manufacturer's BDA.
- Always test proper operation before final installation.
