Interconnect cable for steering wheel adapter 42ARC105

• Interconnect (patch) cable for connecting aftermarket JVC and Kenwood car radios to a steering wheel control adapter (LFB/SWC).
• Different radio manufacturers use different types of control inputs: single-wire, two- and multi-wire (Key1/Key2/GND), or a 3.5 mm jack input – the exact variant is always specified in the BDA (manual) of the particular car radio.
• All required connection wires must be connected before attaching the interface to the vehicle.
• For some radios it is necessary to additionally “teach” (remap) the steering wheel button functions in the unit’s menu according to the radio manufacturer’s BDA instructions.
• Always test correct operation before final installation.

Notice

• Connection: 4-pin Molex → single-wire connection.
• LFB interconnect cable for the 42cx401 interface (compatible with 42a-xxxx-xxx kits).
• DIP switch settings: as per the table below (ON/OFF mode).
• Atoto aftermarket units are not supported.
• Must be ordered together with the appropriate steering wheel adapter.

Intended for head units:

• JVC - single-wire connection.
• Kenwood - single-wire connection.

• JVC - ON / OFF / ON (alternative: ON / ON / ON).
