Sometimes it can happen that, through careless handling, leather becomes splattered with super glue. In most cases these stains cannot be removed even with a quick reaction. Common cleaning agents only spread the area affected by the glue and at the same time damage the leather surface finish. With the Sekundenkleber-Entferner you can safely remove these stains completely or with minimal consequences. - Before using the product, make sure by a simple test that your upholstery is made of surface-corrected leather (so-called pigmented leather).
- Apply a drop of water to a less visible place and spread it lightly with your thumb.
- If the leather does not absorb the water or the surface does not darken, it is surface-treated leather and you can continue with the removal.
- Otherwise stop the application and contact a professional service!
- Thoroughly clean the affected surface evenly from seam to seam with the mild cleaning agent Lederreiniger Mild.
- Apply Sekundenkleber-Entferner to a clean soft cloth and perform a colorfastness test on a less visible spot.
- Begin by gently rubbing the affected area until the glue dissolves.
- Keep the application cloth constantly saturated with the product.
- If the surface becomes sticky, stop cleaning and allow the leather to dry.
- For older, more resistant stains it is necessary to repeat the application several times.
- After removal, wipe the whole surface with a cloth dampened with water.
- After drying, treat the leather with the protective impregnation Leder Versiegelung.
- If slight discoloration occurred during removal, you can refresh the leather surface with the tinting dye Leder Fresh.
Warning
