COLOURLOCK Glue Solvent Free is a solvent-free leather adhesive designed for leather and imitation leather repairs. It is mainly suitable for preliminary or backside bonding of cracks and holes, as well as for fixing protruding edges of leather or leather fibres. Thanks to its gentle, solvent-free composition, it is ideal for detailed repairs of damaged areas where precise and controlled application is required. The product is intended for restoration and repair work on leather car interiors, upholstery, and other leather surfaces.
During application, the adhesive should be used sparingly in a thin layer and can be spread with a brush if necessary. Then repair the cracks by butt-joining the edges, or press the adhesive using a suitably cut textile backing. The manufacturer recommends allowing the adhesive to partially dry before proceeding with the repair or using it when pressing a properly cut textile backing. For cracks, surface cuts, or frayed areas, it should be used very sparingly. Before use, it is recommended to test compatibility on an inconspicuous area.
